Membership Classifications
The Rotary Club of Oshkosh seeks to encourage everyone to become a Rotarian. The club's weekly meetings at noon on Mondays make it very difficult for many people to attend meetings brcause of their work requirementw. Others who are retired often leave Oshkosh for extended periods of time (snowbitds) or go on lengthy "vacations," making it impossinble to attend the club's weekly meetings while they are out of town.
It is with these considerations in mind that four membership classifications have been established.
There are three financial cost categories associated with Rotary Membership:
1) Rotary International Dues and Rotary District 6270 Dues are $50/quarter. (there are no "dues" assessed club members by The Rotary Club of Oshkosh.
2) Weekly meals expenses at the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel. The club's weekly meetings are held at the hotel and members are billed quarterly for the expense of the buffet lunches aty the rate of $12/week. This rate is set by the hotel.
3)Monetary donations by the member to support the club's fundraisers for community service activities.
